Jet-Set: 7 Beauty Must-Haves for Airplane Travel

Planning your next getaway? Keeping up with your everyday beauty routine can be a challenge while travelling, especially when you have to adhere to airplane travel standards. As flying can be stressful on your hair and skin, it’s important to take extra effort in maintaining your beauty routine; but that does not have to mean an over-packed and over-weight suitcase!

As I will be heading to England tomorrow, I have decided to share my 7 beauty must-haves for airplane travel, keeping my skin healthy and myself happy on those long-haul flights! Check out my travel must-haves below:

Facial Spray

Caudalie Beauty Elixer (30 ML) $22.00 CAD

Perfect for rehydrating your skin and giving it a refreshing glow, this product is my favourite recommendation for jet-set women! This product was originally inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s famous elixir of youth, giving you total royalty vibes as you wear it! Available in travel-sized bottles, all it takes is 1-2 sprays of this product to make you feel refreshed after a long flight.

Lip Balm

Dior Addict Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm $41.00 CAD

I am such a fan of this lip product! Acting as both a balm and a lip stain, Dior’s Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm gives your lips the colour and hydration you need to revitalize your look in seconds. This product comes in a variety of colours and finishes, taking your look from exhausted mess to runway ready on your long travel days!

Mini Perfume

Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne (30 ML) $90.00 CAD

Smelling good is one of the best ways to make you feel amazing and ready to take on your travel day! Carrying a variety of natural scents, Jo Malone‘s Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne is my favourite as it is long-lasting and fresh-smelling. Even better, Jo Malone scents are available in small, travel-sized bottles, making them perfect for your jet-scent!

Mini Hand Sanitizer

Bath & Body WorksPocketBac Hand Sanitizer $6.00 CAD

If you are anything like me, you like to keep your hands clean! That’s why I always attach a mini hand sanitizer to my carry-on bag. Personally, I like to use the Bath & Body works hand sanitizer as they have several scents to choose from, keeping the plane germs away and allowing you to smell amazing at the same time!

Dry Shampoo

Batiste Original Dry Shampoo $4.49 CAD

While travelling it can sometimes be impossible to find a moment to shower when you are on-the-go. That’s why I always bring a small bottle of dry shampoo in my bag! This product is perfect for the quick pick-me-up your hair needs, making you look refreshed and ready to tackle whatever you have ahead of you!

Hand Cream

Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve $19.00 CAD

You know that dreaded after-plane dehydrated feeling? I do! That’s why I always bring a bottle of airplane-sized hand cream with me. This brand is my personal favourite for in-flight hydration as it is long lasting, keeping me from having to reapply hand cream throughout my flight. After one use all I have to worry is whether or not I want to read, sleep or watch a film!

Face Mask

Karuna Hydrating Face Mask $10.00 CAD

This is a new trend that I am looking forward to trying on my flight tomorrow! Many celebs are recommending hydrating your face with a face mask during long- haul flights to give your skin that fresh glow it craves! I recommend using the Karuna brand for face masks as they are effective and smell incredible. Looking forward to letting you know how this one goes tomorrow!
